1. Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of Anaedo, a directory for Nnewi. By accessing Anaedo, creating an account, submitting a listing, review, claim, report or other content, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Anaedo.
2. Anaedo is a directory
Anaedo helps people discover local information. It does not sell the goods or services shown in listings, act as an agent for a listed person, or guarantee the availability, quality, safety, legality or accuracy of a listing. A Verified badge means Anaedo has completed the level of verification described at the time; it is not an endorsement, warranty or recommendation.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate, current information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may use Anaedo only if you can lawfully agree to these Terms. Do not create accounts using false identities, impersonate others, or use automated means to access or collect data without permission.
4. Listings, claims and content
You may submit a listing only where you have authority to do so. You must provide truthful, lawful, non-misleading and up-to-date information, and have all permissions needed for photos, logos, contact details and other material. Anaedo may review, request evidence for, edit for formatting, reject, suspend, remove or correct any submission. A listing may not be published until approved. Submitting a claim does not itself transfer ownership.
5. Reviews and reports
Reviews must reflect genuine first-hand experiences and must not be fabricated, paid for without clear disclosure, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, unlawful or intended to manipulate ratings. Reports must be made in good faith. Anaedo may moderate, remove or decline to publish content at its discretion, consistent with applicable law.
6. Prohibited use
You must not upload malicious code; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; harvest contact data for spam; post unlawful, abusive, explicit or deceptive material; interfere with the service; bypass security; or use Anaedo for fraud. We may suspend or terminate access and preserve or disclose information where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect people, enforce these Terms or comply with law.
7. Intellectual property
Anaedo and its branding, software and original content belong to Anaedo or its licensors. You retain rights in content you submit, but grant Anaedo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt for formatting, display and distribute that content in connection with operating, promoting and improving the directory. You confirm you have the right to grant this licence.
8. Availability and liability
Anaedo is provided on an ‘as available’ basis. To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, Anaedo disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these Terms and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the directory or dealings with a listed party. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or obligations that Nigerian law does not permit us to exclude.
9. Changes, termination and governing law
We may change Anaedo or these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date; continued use after they take effect means you accept them. You may stop using Anaedo at any time. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
